On the 2nd Monday of each month. Our Post holds our House Executive Meeting monthly meeting at 10:30 AM. This meeting is for Post Officer and Trustees. Members are encourage to attend.

VFW Bell Post 1820 PTSD Group Meeting. Will be on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. From 11 AM till 12 PM. If Meeting falls on a Federal Holiday the Post is Closed and no meeting will be held that day.

No One Does More For Veterans
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 

IN-COUNTRY

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.

Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM,  a meal will be served after the meeting. Bikers For Bereavement Fundraiser

On the last Saturday of the month from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Horny Toad Harley Davidson in Temple, TX. We are having Bikers for Bereavement Fundraiser. Proceeds go to our County Grief Resouces and Funeral Expenses. Hosted by Young's Daughters Funeral Home and Bereavement Center and  the VFW 1820 Benefits Officer.
